During my years on the California bench (1976-1996) and beyond I was heavily involved in the teaching of judges within the Center for Judicial Education and Research (CJER) and the California Judges Association (CJA).
During those years I created cartoons of CJER’s B.E. Witkin Judicial College deans and CJA presidents. These cartoons were printed onto t shirts and distributed to students.
To preserve these drawings, they were photographed and printed. Many thanks to photographer Dana David and John Sheridan who did the digital printing. Both are from Oakland, California.
